Carefx Has Overall Score of 87.16 in KLAS Mid-Year Performance Review
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — August 13, 2008 — Carefx Corporation today announced its SSO/CM leadership position in Platinum KLAS and an overall score well above the 79.69 average of other HIT software vendors in the 2008 Mid-Year Performance Review by KLAS (www.KLASresearch.com), the healthcare industry’s leading independent research firm. Based on client satisfaction surveys and client interviews administered by KLAS, the mid-year performance review delivers feedback on Carefx and other vendors in the industry, including those in the SSO/CM category such as Sentillion, IBM (Encentuate), CA, Imprivata, Novell and Passlogix.
“When speaking to Carefx’s customers, we consistently hear positive commentary,” said Paul Pitcher, Research Director at KLAS. “We applaud those vendors who exceed expectations, according to their customers.”
Based on ratings and commentary from clients, Carefx is the highest performing vendor in the SSO category of Platinum KLAS. Carefx’s average score in each of the three clusters of primary, detail and business indicators topped those of all other vendors.
Among those vendors assessed, Carefx consistently led in sub-indicators such as proactive service, interface quality and timeliness, contracting experience, support of client job performance, satisfaction with vendor and product and quality of releases or updates.
One-hundred percent of Carefx clients cited Carefx as an essential component of their long-term technology strategy and plan, according to Platinum KLAS. Clients unanimously lauded Carefx for its ability to follow through on promises made – to avoid “nickel-and-diming,” and to accurately portray support costs.
“While our performance in the KLAS mid-year report is a validation of our open, flexible and scalable technology platform, more importantly it is a strong validation that our customers view us as their long-term partners in solving the ever-increasing challenges associated with accessing information quickly, intuitively and remotely,” said Andrew Hurd, Chairman and CEO of Carefx. “Our customers recognize that, as their IT environments get more and more complex, the answer to non-collaborative closed proprietary systems is not to introduce yet another closed proprietary system. The answer is to work with a company that, like them, is thinking beyond the problems they are trying to fix this fiscal quarter and focusing on a platform that will serve their needs for the next quarter century.”
